What to do if your garage door won’t open
If your garage door won’t open the first thing to do is inspect the spring. If the spring is broken or there’s wires caught in or around it, do not touch it! The counter balance that opens the door (not the mechanical opener) is not functioning. You can try to open the door by hand but it will be heavy and must be lifted evenly so the tracks don’t jam. If possible, it’s best to leave the door closed and contact Gold Label Door right away. We are available 24/7 for emergency calls.
